Applications are now open for the Wild Galway Games Incubator 2024. The incubator is a pilot programme that aims to support regional game developers, including new entrants and emerging professionals in their careers.

This unique programme provides support and access to an entrepreneurial workspace at CREW to help develop game developers’ portfolios, assist in the production of Irish IP (Intellectual Property), and support the establishment of new Games Studios in Galway.

WGGI 3.0 is a follow-on from the hugely successful Wild Galway Games Initiative 2022-2023, where local indie developers took part in a series of workshops and events to improve their skills and portfolios.

The 2024 Wild Galway Games Incubator programme is managed by Ardán in association with Galway City Council, Creative Ireland, CREW, IMIRT, and Local Enterprise Office Galway.

What’s on offer and who can apply?

We are offering indie game developers a bespoke programme to support the development of their career and to get their project off the ground with access to a workspace in CREW. We are looking for eight indie developers who are based in, or setting up, a game studio in the West of Ireland to apply. We will provide opportunities for making connections with local developers, meeting industry professionals, and mentorships.

  • 8 indie game developers
  • Professional mentorship
  • Industry workshops
  • Networking opportunities
  • Workspace access at CREW
