The Ardán / RTÉ Short Film Commission – now in its 32nd year – offers writers, directors and producers the opportunity to produce a funded live action short film of up to 10 minutes. The scheme includes mentorship and guidance provided by experienced industry professionals. 

The 2023 call-out received 58 applications from Producer/ Writer/ Director teams from all over the country, and it proved to be a very competitive scheme. 

Ardán & RTÉ are delighted to announce that five scripts have been chosen to interview for the award, and the chance to receive the €15,000 to fund a production of their script into a 10-minute short film. 

Interviews will take place in Galway on November 3rd, 2023 with a panel of industry representatives.
