Are you a writer with a story idea? Are you a producer or director looking for an opportunity to show what you can do?

The RTÉ Short Film Scheme gives new writers a chance to develop their story from outline to finished script, and emerging directors and producers the opportunity to bring that script to life as a ten-minute film.

All writers, directors and producers will be mentored and supported throughout the production process by experienced professionals, giving new talent an unprecedented opportunity to showcase their work and learn and train on set.
