Jennifer Estaris (she/her) is a Filipina-American game director, designer and climate advocate. She directed Monument Valley 3, a critically-acclaimed meditative puzzle game about recovering from a climate disaster and building a resilient, nature-based community. MV3 launched on Netflix Games in December 2024 and recently won UKIE’s Best Mobile Game award. She also directed Monument Valley 2’s The Lost Forest, which advocates for forest conservation. Jennifer has over 20 years experience in game design, working at SYBO (Subway Surfers), Nickelodeon, Disney, and indie studios. She speaks regularly about social impact in games at GDC, SXSW, Gamescom, and other conferences. She serves on the UNEP-facilitated Playing for the Planet (Advisory Council, Storytelling Co-Lead) and the IGDA Climate SIG, and was the recipient of the 2024 Playing for the Planet Champion Award. Jennifer is based in London, where she writes the TTRPG Terra Preta with her 11 year old child.
